Flight Training Programs in Kankakee, IL
Elite Flight Training and Aircraft Management, LLC is located in Kankakee, just 50 miles south of Chicago. We offer professional and customized flight training programs including one of Chicagoland's only Multi-Engine Accelerated course. Founded in 2014 with a vision to bring a flight school to the south suburbs of Chicago, Elite Flight Training continues to be one of the only complete flight institutions in the area. Join us and make your flying dreams come true!
The Greater Kankakee Airport was established in 1962 and is currently home to over 100 private hangars, housing helicopters, single engine airplanes, ultralights, and turbine powered aircraft. In 2013, the airport broke ground for the US National Guard and now houses 13 UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters.

BRIAN ROSE
Brian's story is unique, yet similar to many -- he was working in the corporate world but always had a passion for flying. He started taking lessons in 2004 and obtained his Private and Instrument Pilot Certificates. From there, he would fly recreationally until he met Jeff and become Elite Flight Training's first individual to receive his Commercial Pilot License. Realizing his desire to want to teach others, he completed training to become a FAA Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instrument Instructor. Brian's true enjoyment for flying is apparent by all his students success at Elite Flight Training.

KALEB BRUCE
Kaleb Bruce is a 1st generation pilot who’s passion for aviation blossomed in high school, after watching the TV show Airplane Repo. Believe it or not, Kaleb’s teacher/mentor set up a meet and greet (job shadow) between Kaleb and the pilot reposing planes for the hit TV show, and instantly Kaleb was hooked!! Kaleb is a former instructor and graduate of Lewis University and we’re happy to announce he’s a full time instructor for Elite!

Kellen Saindon
Meet Kellen Saindon, Elite's newest instructor and a product of our own training program. Kellen's journey with Elite began in 2019 when he completed his Private Pilot Training under the guidance of our skilled instructor, Brian. His passion for aviation led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management at Lewis University, enhancing his knowledge and expertise in the field. Now, a resident of the local area, Kellen brings a unique blend of Elite's training and academic excellence to our team. His dedication to aviation and his roots with Elite make him a valuable addition to our instructor roster.
